Hi Guys,

first I would like to wish everybody merry X-maS!

Now back to the main topic, something for the MT variety fans among us.

I have here an obviously unlisted variety or a mule of the Hafner 32a / 28a issue, apparently struck with a broken M and a single dot (instead of a double dot) between the letters D & G in obverse.

I would like to know if one of the specialized experts (austrokiwi?) is aware of that variety and whether I am right with my assumption.

Here are some pictures:

The coin is slabbed by PCGS (unfortunately with the details remark due to minor frictions on its bright surfaces) and considered uncirculated.

interesting example: It has a few markers that suggest it is a, for me, missing link. the key missing link for me is the broken M. I think its actually a variant of H30

I do agree, but the tail details look otherwise like H28 & H32 Interesting-Hafner-28A/32A-Variety-W.-Broken-M-&-Single-Dot! to me.

...also the thick "H" in THERESIA is matching the H32 type.

......And the Matrix used for the reverse ( not the fine feathers) is a very close match to H25( in my collection not in Hafner book, hafner regards my example as a true H25). Its a real mix of features

Well, that is something we can not see, unless you post a picture, which would be appreciated.

Thanks.
