I just purchased for the low low sum of 50 cents, yes face value at a coin store, a 1995 d boradstruck clipped planchet 50c piece. And was wondering if anyone has any ideas to its value or where I can find an idea about calculating its value.

You showed two different coins.

You showed the broadstruck, clipped planchet half and you showed an Off center struck quarter dollar.

The quarter is worth in the area of $15.00 to $20.00 and the half being a multiple error like that is more difficult to price. I don't even want to hazard a guess on that one. Suffice it to say that if you got it for .50 you did GREAT.
