My best guess is that this is a coin from the Ottoman Empire.

The 4 symbols at the very bottom is the year of mintage.

The symbols over it would be the mint name. Constantinople?

EDIT: I posted my imilar coins on the site. Check them out.

Ottoman coin with the other side ground down.
Mint is Constantinople.
The rulers ascension date is AH1255.
And the year within the reign 4, the number on top.
Together that results in the coin being minted in AH1258 = 1842.

Check the weight to confirm the denomination. Yours should not be much less than the 1.35 grams stated.
