Any of you folks ever heard of Golf Goat Tokens, I have one that I found and have heard that a number of the Pre WWII country clubs used to commission these tokens as a way of promoting friendly rivalry on the course The story goes that if you lost a match against your opponent then you would have to give him your token (er Goat) hence the phrase "I've got your Goat" Let me know if this is true and if anyone knows where I can find these I am really interested.

Never heard of them , but that sounds like a interesting story. To trace an expression and find out its real root is always interesting an often not what you expect
