I got this bill from a bank ATM a couple days ago. It looks like there is some strange ink patterns on the back. Could this have been caused by another bill transferring ink when it was still wet? Is this considered an error, and is it uncommon enough to save considering only a small area is affected? Thanks.

I'm wondering the same thing with this $100. I think it's intaglio splatter, since they are raised.

(Ignore the pencil writing - all the Canadian bills bought in Glodok have that and there are several types of those "signatures")

I believe this is called Intaglio ink offset. I am not sure if people are paying premium for this level of ink offset.
