I may actually agree to it, but I wish I had more explanation why is 1969 number MD. I do not see any flatness in there. Thank you very much. thanks.

The whole top of the 9 is shelf like denoting machine damage. It is very common to find machine damage on the 1968-1972 cents. It even happens on doubled die coins as well.
