I just got my first 2007 nickles and out of the 5 that I got ones had little die cracks on the face of Jefferson and and about three of them looked like they had greese marks on the obverse and reverse of them. Quality control or what lol Die crack on face Greese marks Edited by laxmaster92 09/14/2007 1:13 pm

Struck through grease....it has that "look". Also, it is very common. When you consider the billions of coins struck, the quality contrl is really not that shabby. :-)

Very common on these new Jefferson designed nickels. I see those Struck Through Grease, and facial die cracks more often than not on these nickels.

I have gone through almost one roll of 2007 P nickels and have found every error posted here on the same nickels. Some of the grease through almost obliterate the T in Trust. Also another error in the E in Liberty that I will post shortly.

Here is another that found. I found several varieties of this type. Pics are lousy but you'll get the idea. Image: IMG_56662007jeff1.jpg81.94 KB

I was on nickels for awhile and came across some very bad 2007s all Philly, just some ugly stuff.

I wish I could just find some 07 Nickels. So far can't seem to find to many from either mint. Sure not being circulated much around me.
