I understand what you are saying, Ski, and I go along with it. Clearly the seller put his 'top' price on the coin and because of what you and P.P. put in front of me, my offer was less than half of what the listing was asking. My offer was not accepted.
I LOVE the First Meris, but dealing with the likes of VCoins 'frightens' me. They quote in US$, GBP, and Euros (confusing) and then there are 'fees' (Buyer's Premium etc.) and then there is (undisclosed) postage and handling charges, ALL of which can add up to much more than you think that you are paying for the coin.
I guess that when you do it a few times you get used to it, but 'daunting' is a word that comes to mind. (Limited budget is another.)

Everything is up on Vcoins and there are no buyer fees and postage is stated when you buy the coin.
