Let's assume a newcomer comes here, doesn't register though (for every one that does, there's at least a hundred that don't), because he has an 1878 CC Morgan dollar. He goes to the US Classic forum and searches 1878 CC Morgan. He gets a list of terrific topics that come up and reads 15-20 of them and comes up with a general idea what it's worth and leaves.

He never sees the 40 topics with the counterfeit 1878 CC Morgans because they are in a completely different area. Had they been in the same forum..... he likely would have discovered that his coin was fake rather easily.

I had started adding counterfeits to the coinfacts pages like so, click the counterfeit link. I haven't been diligent about it because I get wrapped up in other things. If members would hit a note to Staff on counterfeit topics where there are decent pictures and certainty that it's counterfeit I can add them. It's not the building of the pages that takes time (less than 5 minutes), it's the monitoring.

I also have an idea to maybe work with Steve jointly, shoot me a note Steve.
