Can anyone tell me what is up with this coin. It has words in the bottom of the penny that says
I B R I N G the penny is a 1929
Is it a counterstamped or countermark or is it something else

Most likely a counterstamp. Can you post closeups of that area?

neat find!
Looks like an off center strike that has been elongated (somehow) and counterstamped. Wanna make $10?

Its not off center. In God We Trust is right where it should be on top. When they counter stamped it, it squished the bottom lip of the coin out. I have never seen one like that. I agree. I would NOT sell that.

Someone altered it. Looks like someone just stamped it for some reason. Had a quarter with a stamped S in it.
