Hi everyone, I just plucked this out of a junk bin since the lion-like figure on the reverse struck me as particularly intriguing. Any help with the ID would be appreciated!

It's a Burma 10 Pyas. http://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces6451.html
I'll try and see if I can figure out the date. I've never seen that kind of script before.

Edit: After consulting Krause, I think it's 1951 Oops, it's 1952. I looked up the wrong column

The script is Burmese. Date appears to be 1952

Date is definitely 1952 - if you don't find it under Burma, look under Myanmar.
