hi everyone Happy New Year
I have a pile of coins that are supposed to be from a hoard in India
my pal said they were 11th century Cholas Empire from an area near Rajaraja. any help would be appreciated

At a first glace the coins don't look like Chola coins. 'Rajaraja' was not an area but rather an inscription on the coins.
The top one is certainly Indian, with left facing bull on it.

Please post better and well numbered (or separate) pictures of each coin (both sides), that will help to identify yours.

Let me add that the top coin belongs to a long line of "Samanta Deva" (inscription above the bull) coinage, to determine the exact type would depend on how well the reverse can be interpreted. (I have several examples spanning several centuries and various regions.)

As said before, please make separate pictures from each coin - hopefully then enough detail will be visible to identify some (if not all).
