this is again, something that needs an expert evaluation. and if real could net you hundreds if not a thousand bucks..

These look like the scarcer issue Fr. 1227 with dark portrait background, but the photos are making it hard to make a determination. If true, you have a true rarity, but I'm still leaning towards Fr. 1226 due to there being 11 known sheets for that Friedburg number. The dark portrait variety has none known.

The holder did say that it was the Fr 1227 with the dark portrait.

Did a little more digging and I found only a couple partial Fr. 1227 uncut sheets that have been sold. All sold in the $500-$700 range and they were in AU condition. Might not be as rare as I originally thought, but these still aren't seen everyday. Still a really nice piece.
