WheatBack Pillar of the Community United States 2850 Posts	Posted 01/03/2015 11:00 pm These look like the scarcer issue Fr. 1227 with dark portrait background, but the photos are making it hard to make a determination. If true, you have a true rarity, but I'm still leaning towards Fr. 1226 due to there being 11 known sheets for that Friedburg number. The dark portrait variety has none known. WheatBack Pillar of the Community United States 2850 Posts	Posted 01/03/2015 11:37 pm Did a little more digging and I found only a couple partial Fr. 1227 uncut sheets that have been sold. All sold in the $500-$700 range and they were in AU condition. Might not be as rare as I originally thought, but these still aren't seen everyday. Still a really nice piece.
