A little bit of information here: http://www.uspapermoney.info/serials/all___d.html
Tens were the only series 1933 notes to be printed, and not too many were. Definitely a cool anomaly.

Very nice,is it yours? Star note and a sample note to boot. Here is an idea of a regular, not a star note or sample which would be worth a lot more. http://www.uscurrencyauctions.com/$10notes.htm

From Jamie Yakes on a Collectors Universe Forum thread:

The 1933 $10s were printed to monetize the silver received by the Treasury under the allowances of the May 1933 Agricultural Adjustment Act. Plates were made starting in December 1933 and the first notes printed in January 1934. Within a few months, however, the Treasury dropped the 1933s in favor of the Series of 1934 notes authorized by the 1934 Gold Reserve and silver Purchase acts, and issued that June. Less than 100,000 1933s were ever circulated.

The 1933 $10.00 silver certificate is the scarcest of all small sized notes. One source lists only a single star note known and that is serial number 2.
Rest in Peace
