Hey everyone!

Happy New Year! :)

To my surprise, my brother bought an ancient coin!

He got the Nero Ae As (Lugdunum).

It looks like a really nice coin, almost too nice.

I'm still noobish when spotting fakes, so I thought I'd bring it to the experts.

I would really appreciate your opinions, as always.

Thanks so much!

Erin :)

But just to double check, ask him where he bought it from.

Thanks for your input!

My brother just told me that he got it from an ebay seller with 100% feedback (2000+) and sells nothing but ancients. So, I think he's good. I checked the forvm fake list and the seller isn't on there.

I compared this coin to others that I saw online and noticed gaps in between some letters on this one that aren't in others.

I guess I just got worried because it seemed so out of the blue from my brother to buy this and I was afraid that he didn't do his research. But, he did and all is well!

Thanks so much!

Erin :)
