All - I search a pretty high volume of every denomination other than halves right now. I have always kept all proofs I find unless really banged up.

I used to sell them to a collector, but he got really sick and is not collecting now. Have traded some w my dad also (he is putting together impaired proof sets from circulation for nickels and halves). Have tried unloading them on ebay as a lot to no avail. I was wondering if there was another approach to unload them?

Thought about rolling them up and turning them in for someone else to find - may start someone else in this hobby.

Or maybe someone on here needs some - would gladly send them your way for shipping cost and face value? Just hate the thought of throwing them back. I am sort of an anti-hoarder and don't like clutter.

Let me know what you all do w proofs.

I personally would keep them, but since your an anti-hoarder, you could use them for trading with other collectors.

I have found dozens of proof halves over the years. I've kept maybe 10% of those.
I keep all the silver proof and clad proof dimes, and all the other denoms if they are nice.

I'd be interested if there are no other takers. Are they listed on the have for trade board?

Finn - I honestly have no idea how to post to the trade list.

I will try and message you my email. I have 10 or so nickel proofs, and should have 1 or 2 of each other denomination.

Have a bunch of half proofs too.

Thanks Jbuck. Will try and do that.

Finn - I just allowed people to send me emails at my forum account. I tried to I'm you, but it seems you don't allow. Feel free to contact me at the email on my account and I can get you a list of what I have.
