2001 Accumulation Error? Please Approve!!

UncleLuc Valued Member Canada 270 Posts	Posted 01/04/2015 10:18 pm Hello all! So this is a random find, I aquired as change today. I am near positive it has one or more of the listed accumulation errors on these 2001 nickels. You can clearly see raised accumulations in "CENTS" and "REGINA"...also, it appears as tho the queens nose has the "wart" accumulation. This very well could be PMD, I just personally dont see how. Is this in fact an error? And if so, would this be desireable to error coin collectors? Report this Post to the Staff

Altaira Pillar of the Community Canada 2519 Posts	Posted 01/04/2015 10:54 pm I don't know if this is actually an "error" or "minor variety". These are common in 2001 nickels, I think it has something to do with the switch to using MPPS. Report this Post to the Staff
