I have an update on the project to collect a coin likely in circulation circa 1980 in every entity listed in a 1980 World Atlas. Taking into account revaluations, 90% silver coins, NCLTs, and a whole lot of wisdom from CoinCommunity members, I kept plugging along trying to make sense of it all.
I have been working on this project off and on for over 3 years, and I think I am almost ready to unveil the results for critique and review. I have a few more coins on the way to finish this up, but there is one thing I'm still uncertain about, and that's Azores.

My understanding from what I read previously on this thread is that Azores did not have their own currency circa 1980, but the above 1980 coin says Azores. Is what I have to describe this coin accurate? If not, should this coin be included as a coin likely to circulate primarily in Azores?
As always, thanks!
