I have my reservations about this one being a "Rarity 8" on Jack Griffin's scale - it is certainly nowhere as rare as the 1881H Single Serif N... (also a Rarity 8 coin).

I agree Roger there seems to be a few of these showing up and for the 1881 SSN I have only seen a handful of them in the last 10 years and was very lucky to land one. But the 1864 New Brunswick coin with the Reverse with no parts missing from the lettering and the same Obverse seems to less of them around I have only seen 2 to date.

I can't find a 703f in Griffins book but he did list a 704f with a rarity 4 comments; 8 and 6 wide; 6 and 4 quit wide The 6 is RP slanted right and lower also. The right leg of the R of REG is recut. There is a die break before the D of FD. That might be the coin your asking about Don

Your coin looks like it might be a GR-703 Don. Here's the write up on it, Normal date, narrow short 6, thin 4. Comments; 8 and 6 close; 6 and 4 close. The 4 is lower and upright. The E and G of REG and FD are all slightly re-punched. Rarity 4

Fourmack have never seen the doubled chin. interesting. BUT, your coin is not the E/F variety

This is interesting: the E/F's I have all have a RP R in REG. and other letters are also RP. Same as Papeldogs. the Gidjit coins do not appear to have the R rpd. I have some with the F rpd.

I have two large cents 1861 and a 64 New Brunswick. I'm trying for pics but having a problem with them as it is vg-f coin
I may have another 64 type. Mine has full motto reverse and a die crack obv from the rim in the 1st R of Victoria
almost to her nose.
The reverse has full New Brunswick. The first N on the RH lower point and the end K on the RH lower point are both
touching the thin ring inside the serifs. I will try for decent pics
My 61 is XF+ are there errors?
I never see anything about New Brunswick coins. You folks have some nice coins, I'm glad for the chance to know more info.
Thanks
