I received this note in a mixed lot from e-bay, 1st is it real? second what is a grade for this. I also got some Chinese coins I will post on the world forum if you would like to help ID them. Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply. I wanted some other items in the lot, so this note did not affect my bid, but I like the look of it, and now I have one of them. Once again the collection begins expanding in a unintended direction.

G'day, the portrait is Dr Sun Yat Sen, who is embraced as a hero by both sides of the "debate". Deng erected a very large portrait of him in Tian-An-Men Square.
If I'm not mistaken, the building is a pavillion in the Forbidden City, and in front of it is a famous marble carving "the Nine Dragons".
They must've printed a poultice of currency in that era, as there is still a ton of it - perhaps several tons - being hawked on ebay and elsewhere. A lot of what I've seen seems very high quality paper & printing.
