This note has workers of the world unite in eight languages

German
French
Russian
Italian
English
Arabic
Chinese/or Japanese
And some other Cyrillic language

It also seems to have run out of ink on the reverse.

Can anybody tell me something about it, history value etc.

It has a fold in the middle and a small cut in the left margin.

This 1919 issue of RSFSR note is referred to in the collecting realm as a Babylonian, because of all the languages on the note. This was the heady days of the "Internationale" and the Proletariat were going to rise against their "oppressors" and throw off the yoke of imperialism everywhere. Well that was how it was supposed to be, but things did not go according to plan, and the revolutions in Bavaria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia etc. quickly fizzled.

These notes did not last long in circulation either, the ruble quickly lost value, and these became worthless, along with a succession of re-valued rubles through the early 1920's.

This note is worth about €2.50 or so.

BTW there is not another Cyrillic language notation on there, the other Cyrillic is actually the anti-counterfeiting warning in Russian.
