Hello, does anyone know a website in the US that will sell these when they come out? http://www.muenzeoesterreich.at/eng...te/cosmologyI am also interested in getting the coins from the previous years. I don't really collect world coins, except for when I travel, but really like the design and overall theme of these. Thank You

No U.S. dealers carry this coin, I have a few (would love to collect the series) I got mine from ebay foreign dealers. The new ones can be ordered from the mint, the previous years are very limited and very expensive HERE are the previous years

My husband and his friend (both engineers who love the engineering themes) are each putting together a set. What we haven't been able to buy from the Austrian mint at the big shows, we've bought from US dealers on ebay. I'm expecting the 2010 Renewable Energy coin to be delivered on Monday. My only advice is to stay away from the coins from China. The coins are out there but they're getting rather expensive and I have to hunt and hunt to even find them for sale and I rarely like the price. All the new stuff can be picked up at big shows that the Auetrian Mint attends.

Thanks for all the help. I will keep my eyes open on ebay for them.

I would be happy to assist any purchases.
I am a local dealer and the mint is not far away.
I can simply order and forward any available coins for a low fee (ca. $12).
Just send me a private message for further details and I will try to help with the order if possible.

Oh, this new one is beautiful.
The Austrian niobium series is my favourite modern NIFC series - the prices aren't ridiculously out of my reach, but they're still just a little bit too far. One day...

I like the gold on blue details. I will get mine on the 1st day of this issue (21st of January) directly at the mint.
Anyone else interested?

yes!! I have mine on order at my local bank. Looks like I will have it in my hands by the end of the month( I have all of them except for the earlier Silver titanium issues( pre Euro I think). You might want to check the KP numismatics site...I am sure they have advertised them in the past

We just ordered some -- Yea!! Won't ship for a little while but it is such a great-looking coin. It has sattelites! I still need some to complete the set but the ones I need are sold out.

Ordered some as well directly from the mint. Always meant to be picking up a few, and the designs are really attractive. For sure at the upper end of what I like to spend on individual coins, but would love to build a complete series down the road. Already own the 2000 and 2001 100 Schilling silver/titanium issues.
I see the Austrian Mint also produces similar coins for Luxembourg (although denominated at 5 euros).

Just checked the Austrian Mint website, and all of the silver/niobium coins are showing as sold out. Glad I ordered some when I did.

May be able to buy direct from the mint. Email or write them, asking who their selling agents are. You may have to deal with an English supplier but I don't this will be needed. Does Joel Anderson* sell them? He does lots of new stuff. * Google

We can't do business with you (or trade, etc.) until you reach 250 posts. Check the rules. Wait until you get the required posts. We'll all still be here.

Being in Austria, he was just offering to facilitate buying from the mint. FYI, you only need 100 post to post external links and coinworldtv has quite an extensive ebay store of Asian and European coins.
