Have a 2$ note with the serial number 28377832 -this is all new to me just curious if there is any premium for this? Thanks!

You almost have a "radar" note, not a repeater. If the last "83" were instead "38" it would be a radar. (Or if the first "83" was a "38").

A repeater would be something like "28372837" or "28282828".

Unless your note is a red seal or star note there should be no premium with that serial number you have.

Westernsky is correct. Even 4 digit repeaters don't carry much or any of a premium, I put a $100 with a 4 digit repeater on ebay starting at $125 and got no bids, so I spent it.

Ok thanks! I'm usually all coins but just read an article on this today and decided to check my currency but this is pretty awesome I wont be able to stop lookn at serial numbers now!
