Love the "Since these coins are faked a lot, no returns will be accepted" from a newbie seller.

He obviously doesn't expect to stay on ebay for long.

I am thinking the seller thinks they have a Goodacre dollar.

When they came out they presented the designer with 5000 coins.
You can find them slabbed, and selling at a high price.

Not sure if there is anything unique about them.

In my opinion this sellers coin is just a regular coin.

Quote:
With the desire to have these coins preserved and permanently identified, Ms. Goodacre had all 5,000 of the presentation coins certified and sealed by Independent Coin Grading Company (ICG). ICG began encapsulating these coins on August 8, 2000. On this day they encapsulated 120 coins beginning with the numbers 2003-2122. The remainder were to be encapsulated at a later date. Numbers 2003 to 4999 were sold to the public for $200 each. The remaining numbers were retained by Ms. Goodacre.

Well, it still doesn't prove it's an ordinary dollar. But....

Did someone contact him? He ended the auction "because there was an error in the listing". Yeah, I'd say so...

Maybe he had an offer for a straightjacket in exchange for the coin?

The topper is that he misspelled his user name.

I thought about contacting the seller to "ask a question" but refrained. I know there are many here who do police ebay and try to keep sellers honest, but nothing is organized. Perhaps we could have a section dedicated to suspect listings and invite forum members to contact the sellers.

If anyone wants a real "Cheerios" dollar, Harlan J Berk has a real nice on up for sale on their site. PCGS MS68 $10,000. It is a beauty.
