In todays liberal and "I'm going to sue you because I disagree with your beliefs" environment I am surprised to see a firearm on a coin.

I'm definitely picking up the Silver dollar and half in uncirculated finish. I really like these designs.

Based on the current gold value and the mint's gold price list, UNC should be $412.60 and proof $417.60.

I'll be buying both silver coins. The gold coin is too expensive and I do not care for this half dollar.

The uncirculated half is not mentioned on the Mint site; just the proof. Also as Dar said, no mention or price on the 3 coin set. Guess we will find all the answers tomorrow.

You have to go to the next page to see the clad unc prices on the product page. BUT..

The Gold will be out of my price line as well

I was hoping when I first saw the 5$ gold piece that it would be 1/10oz, not 1/4oz. I don't know why?

I MIGHT have been able to swing it if it were that.

Oh well.

Thanks denco; the mint is posting the proof at $14.95, so I'm thinking the UNC will be $13.95. They give us a 3-4 dollar break for the 1st 30 days.

Does anyone know if the 3 coin sets usually sell out fast. A friend wants me to order 2 for him, providing they are around $500. With the price of the singles, they should be.l

I Went and ordered a pair of each.

Couldn't do the Gold though. Oh well.

Just means I'll have to save up and get a Pre-33 Double Eagle someday then!

Everything happens for a reason.

I also went and got 1 of the small 1.5 inch "New Frontier Bronze Medals".

Ordered my UNC Silver Dollar. I don't know why but I just can't get excited about the proof commemoratives. I did finally pull the trigger on the Kennedy 4 coin set though, didn't want my Marshall coin to get lonely on the way here.
