Okay, I am not fond of modern gold, but this is the second one you have showed us that rings the bell. Where did these come from?

okay. I am sorry you lost your brother.

General rule

if the plastic holder says MS70 or PF70 you win. How many of these did he leave you?

It's the most difficult of the $50's to find in PR70, and worth a bit of change as a result. However, PCGS has graded only a little over 100 of these, and NGC over 400. There's a sizable price difference in the slabs - it's a $3500 coin in PCGS plastic and about $1000 less in NGC.

A great coin. Keep it in the holder because odds of PCGS giving it that 70 are low and not worth the cost.
