Nice coin! It appears to be a cast copy of a Spanish "Cross Pistareen" or two Reales of Philip V, dated 1723 and with a Seville mint mark and Assayer initial "J." The design is all correct, yet these were excellent 0.917 fine silver coins manufactured on roller dies and should have crisp detail in the recesses despite wear. What gives this coin interest is the old and worn hole through the date, seemingly pulled from long wear, but looking correct for an early piercing. The second hole might be for security when the first gives way? These were counterfeited back in the 18th and 19th century, but there is a chance yours is legitimate, just having had a bad day at the mint using rusted roller dies. I have seen
Cuds from chips in the dies which are fairly common as appears on your coin. Despite saying two reales, these coins were light by a fifth, needing five of them to equal a Spanish Colonial Piece-of-Eight. They circulated in America from about 1740 until 1800.
