Was able to pick up 4 book on my want list. The auction just closed a few minutes ago. I won...

William C. Noyes Large Cents 1793-1794, 1795-1797 2 Volumes in color
and the 1816-1845, 1846-1857 Large Cents in 2 volumes also in full color!

Got both sets for a lot less than one set of 2 would have cost me. My copies came out of the Michael Spurlock collection, supposed to be like new. Can't wait to receive them and start reading.

Also received my Rick Snow 2 volume Flying Eagle & Indian Head cent books yesterday, along with a box of stuff from the ANA Library (mostly DVDs), another 1867 DDO 2¢ piece from an ebay transaction and a couple of auction catalogs to add to my library! It was a good week for me!

Thanks - now I'm off to edit my want list page, a few more items to remove, love when that happens!

I now have every book (6 total) that Bill has written on Large cents! Just need his Penny Prices to complete the Noyes section of my library.

Glad to have finally finsihed them, as they are getting hard to find and expensive.

Way to go westcoin!

Those large cent books are pricey, they're on my want list but at the bottom for now.

I pre-ordered Kevin Flynn's 1838-O Half book and placed my order for the upcoming book on the 1822 Half Eagle by Bowers.

Since I probably won't be adding many 1793-1799 Large cents to my collection any time soon (lack of funds) I figure the books would be better, and the fact I got all 4 volumes for under $400 it was a no brainer, since they sell for between $180-265 each brand new.

You do know Kevin Flynn has been a recent participant here at CCF lately? Glad to have him around. I won an ebay auction a few months ago on the 1836 Reeded Half dollar book by Richard Piper (neat inexpensive book). I also just got a tough find I've been searching for the past few years:

Leroy Van Allen 1991 "ROTATED DIE COIN MEASUREMENTS" brand new with the RotaFlip™ included and the last addendum. http://www.ebay.com/itm/261702112881

This item has been a long time coming, and will be put to great use immediately.
