I never bothered with $2 coins when they came out in 1996 as I thought that they never would amount to much and perhaps they never will. But then two years ago when I got back into coins in a more serious way I thought,"Hey I collect most other denominations, why not add Toonies"?

So I collected some from change and some I bought as they were non circulating and last week I think I picked up the last coin I was missing - a 1996-2006 date bottom.

Here is the list of what I have. Just wondered if anyone could tell me if I am missing anything.

Nice collection! Did you get any of the non-circulating coins in circulation?

I would try to look for the 1996 German planchet. They can be hard to identify if they are heavily circulated. Also, some of the '96 and '00 coins have errors such as die chips, which are listed in the Charlton book as varieties.
