So I'm currently trying to figure out the variety on this 1859, and would really like a grade idea on it...please send all grades, Thanks to all!!

Hi UncleLuc, The darn nicks on the neck takes away eye appeal and, also looks like it may have been cleaned at one time.

I can't really help with the variety (I'll leave that to those who are more familiar) but VF30 for grade

This is Dr. Haxby Obverse 521 / Reverse J11.

Considering the damage, down grade to VF 20 cleaned.

Thanks all!! I was going to say VF30 myself. And yes colonialtokens your bang on with 521/J11...doubled 5 is listed Zoell #R2a I believe.

It looks like a VF-20 a lot of wear in the hair around the ear don't think it's a VF-30
