I thought this was a super looking grade but it wasn't cheap and was a bit of an impulse buy. Would be interested to know how it might do at NGC if I were to send it with some other coins at a later date?

Not sure I like the color on this one. Almost has the look of one that has been cleaned and is halfway into the process of retoning. It could just be an artifact of the lighting in the photos though.

I'd say this is a textbook EF in the UK, but NGC will probably grade it MS-62 or thereabouts if the surfaces check out okay.

It would be a keeper for me.
We all make impulse decisions.
Many a time I have picked up a tray of coins at a coin fair and ummed and arrd.
Going back a half a hour later and the coin has been sold.
Go with your heart and instinct.

I bought an EF double florin 1887, a 4 coin silver proof Canadian Olympic games 1976 set, and a group of assorted cupru nickel coins with a few silver....with this half penny. So overall the deal was a good one.
