An AU 1875 or 1876 would be be in line with what you likely paid for the others in this set.

I have yet to see a proof coin in AU that had enough eye appeal for me to want to spend the money on, but it's certainly worth keeping an eye out for.

Well, let's just call this set "complete for now." Maybe someday I'll be able to add a 20 cent piece and a dollar to the collection.

Very, very nice!

Personally, just speaking for myself, I would not consider a PF Trade dollar a part of this set, since it is not a Gobrecht-executed or designed coin. Then again, a nice PF TD would be a beautiful coin in any collection.

Congrats again.

I have to say that the half dollar is just stunning, especially the reverse, which is one of the most impressive proof strikes of the 19th century I have ever seen. Just incredible.

Glad you like it! They're all pretty nice, to be honest, but I had a really hard time getting decent pictures due to reflections from the slabs.

Maybe I'll try taking some videos and posting them on YouTube or something...

Hey, I was just throwing that out there since you sort of asked the question. The set you posted is complete enough for me to be majorly jealous, and I certainly wasn't trying to detract from it.

No, no -- I appreciate the suggestion, believe me! As I said, I'll certainly keep my eyes open.

OK, I tried shooting a brief video showing the reflectivity of the coins. Unfortunately, it got horribly compressed when I uploaded it to YouTube, but hopefully you can still get the general idea:
