Back in November I sent the wife a link to Coin wizard and pointed out a bunch of Dansco albums that I'd like to eventually get (Large, Indian & Lincoln cents,
Buffalo nickels, Morgan $1, and Barber/Merc dimes for a start) and mentioned that they would make great birthday and Christmas presents.
Christmas come and goes with Dad getting some socks and cologne that I'd never use. Such is the life of a 50 year old actuary with 4 kids, 3 in collage.
Then yesterday I get a call from my 19 year old saying I received a package. I get home and find a box with a Dancso for Large Cents and
Buffalo nickels! The wife claims she ordered them before Christmas but I remain unconvinced of her sincerity...

I spent a very enjoyable hour with my 9 year old liberating nickels from their 2x2' and filling my new album while pointing out to her where the dates & mintmarks are. Turns out that grooming young numismatics is actually a quite enjoyable father daughter bonding moment...
Today the 7112, this weekend I'll get to the Large cents. All of the missing buff's are on my want list page and it looks like I'll be adding large cents to my wishlist also!
Here she is, along with my ANACS 1918/7-D

The unmarked slots on the bottom of the second page from left to right are a no-date 2 feather, no-date 3 1/1 leg with a "D", 1938 D/S & a 1938 D with a reverse die break.
