1968 S Penny Mint Mark Error? - Coin Community Forum

Razorshrp New Member United States 12 Posts	Posted 01/16/2015 2:14 pm Hello everyone, after using this forum to help determine what type of coins I have or thought I had. I finally decided to post one of my own. I came across this 1968 penny and can't tell if there is a mint mark error or what.when first glanced at it looks like dirt where the mint mark should be. So I looked closer and closer. To my untrained eye it looks like two S's. My girl thinks I'm seeing things, I'm new here and would appreciate any advice.
