Somehow I have the suspicion that those are replicas. But wait for what 'manymore' has to say, he is the resident expert on all things Chinese.

First off, welcome.

These are reproduced. The obvious grammar error does nothing to allay my suspicions. Looks like it might be a souvenir item for the tourists. But I claim no special expertise in these, so don't take my impression as gospel.

Hello and welcome.

It appears to be a replica set from the 1950s, or at least using 1950s-style packaging and 1950s information; recent scholarship has pushed the probable issue dates of the genuine items further forward than this, to the 400-300 BC time period.

All genuine Chinese spade coins are way too scarce to be bundled up and sold in tourist sets like this. Perhaps the easiest way to tell with these particular replicas is the shape; all or most of the corners are supposed to be sharp, not rounded. And none of them are supposed to have holes in the top.

Actually, there is a type of spade money which has rounded corners. Please see this web page.

Also, there is a type which has holes in the top as well as in the two feet.

They are extremely rare, however, and an authentic specimen is worth around $500,000. Please see here and here for more information.

As already mentioned by others, the OP's spade coins are replicas.

Sorry to say but I agree with the others that these are just replica pieces.
