What's Best To Dip These Coins Prior To Submission?

I need your opinions on what's best to give coins a quick dip prior to submission..I only ask, as I pretty much destroyed the golden color of a SAC $1, using EZ-Zest.
So..what's best for Golden Dollars....Zinc Cents..if you prefer something other than EZ-Zest for 5c, 10c, 25c, and 50c, and silver and Proof Silver and Clad, feel free to chime in....again, this is mainly to remove wash spots, and irregular toning.

Agree. Acetone. If there are trouble spots, rub with a Q-tip.

Rinse with distilled water, then re-rinse with acetone.

You should be washing every coin you own in acetone the moment you get it, anyway.

I use lots of E-Z-Est. It is great for brass carburetor parts and brass knife bolsters.

Acetone is not likely to do anything on wash spots, and if it removes toning them most likely the coin was artificially toned to start with. It won't affect natural toning. Acetone is basically a degreasing agent.
