On Jan 11, the eBayer phdcoins2014, purchased the following 1794 Large Cent PCGS-VFrepaired coin from Heritage: http://coins.ha.com/itm/large-cents...1502-23034.sBefore he even received the coin, he listed it on ebay Jan 12: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1794-1C-Lar...261733010614He uses Heritage pictures and says, "It has not been cleaned or messed with. The coin displays qualities consistent with an AU grade. Coin was previously graded by a third-party grading company, but is no longer certified because I prefer to keep my coins raw and in their original habitat" FUNNY GUY.....Guess the coin upgraded from VF to AU and the damage was not from being messed with.

Is he getting more than he paid for it?

Quote: Is he getting more than he paid for it? The seller paid $481.75 including buyer's premium. Looks like a shill is bidding up the coin as well.

The suspected shill is bidding on all but two > $100 auctions. Not too obvious.

FUNNY, seller ended this and his other misrepresented Heritage listing this morning at 9AM: "This listing was ended by the seller because the item was sold."

His shill bidder dropped off the map also.

The person is either a member or lurker here. Makes sense though, a coin person on a coin board. Do any members have a board name same as the ebayname or the shill bidder name?

The user name was originally "josep.crous" From Louisville Kentucky
Can anyone see the buyer's name on the other site?

The coin didn't sell, there were still 5 days left on the auction. The seller took the listing down.

Looks like he took it down but forgot to kill the bids first, so the high bid at the time would be entitled to it. He did the same thing on the other one.

Obviously not corroded, and has lustre consistent with AU!
That's ridiculous!

Unless it was his shill account that was top bidder.

What's that commercial that says, "Those guys are good." Well, you guys are good. Excellent detective work.

OK here's proof this guy is using a shill - c***u, His shill won this auction and he ended up re-listing it. If this shill was just a no pay he would not be bidding on ALL his auctions. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1830-Large-...em3cefe51ac3 Bobby, is your contact able to boot a dishonest seller?
