For Lincoln Cents 1909-1995
On the plus I think it's much more aesthetically pleasing than my tan Dansco album.
The big downside... it has a hole for the 1955
DDO!

I hate settling for anything but the real deal, and I hate leaving a project unfinished. At least with the Dansco there's no hole for the 55 DD and I already have the two major keys. I guess for now I'll settle for the poor man's 55DD and the real deal will come later.
On the neutral...I was only collecting the wheat backs 09-58. It looks like I can unscrew unwanted pages and luckily a full page ends with 1958. But I think it might end up pressing me to collect ALL Lincolns, which just made my tough project even longer.
Overall I decided going with a nicer presentation was the thing to do.
ALL my Lincolns are brown, so I'm not so worried about toning (for my current cents). I even got lucky. Try finding an UNC 1950s penny that's brown. It's very hard. Luckily my father passed down his old collection that has been sitting in a cardboard holder for 20 years. The much later dates are high grade and brown!
So if I decide to start the 1959+ set... I'm going with BU red. Question: How well will my new album protect against toning?
