Starting up my Franklin collection and figured I'd start at the beginning with a 1948. What would you grade this one? Changed photos: Edited by tkbslc 01/18/2015 01:07 am

Since the pic isn't too good and it says "F" on the 2x2, I'll go along with the seller's grade of Fine (but it's probably better). If you can post better pics that would be helpful.

Looks XF/AU to me. I'll call it AU-50

Added some more pics. Thanks for the replies. I think I fixed the exposure too much on the first and made the coin look flat. It actually has nice cartwheel luster.

Tough to grade these, but my first thought was AU50.

If the coin is that dull, au50 is right. If it had better color or remaining luster au 55 seems right

I think you guys are being a bit harsh, there's no circulation wear.

I would put it in the MS category.

Thanks for replies. Coin shop had it marked MS-60 and I think that's pretty much in line with weaker luster, but no circulation marks.
I'm not a pro at these, but no way it's below 58.
