Easily makes AG3 as far as remaining detail. There may be some corrosion and verdigris and I am no help regarding a possible DDO.

How on earth can you tell that that is a double die? Whatever it is you paid way too much for it, even if it is what you claim.

On an I pad you can blow it up and see the double eyelid. The only 1873 with a complete double eye lid is the rarest one.

Here's a picture of the double eyelid. There are other varieties even with the open 3 but the double eyelid is only complete onn this variety. In g 4 it sells for around $100 to $200 so for $4.50 it is worth it to me

The variety you are referring to (Snow-1) is on the Closed 3. It is almost impossible to tell because of extreme wear but can you determine if it is an Open or Closed 3? The date position appears to be correct. For $4.50, it is worth the gamble, but I don't think much premium would be attached since all the markers for the variety are worn off.

I posted before I saw your last picture. You may be correct. Your eyes are better than mine. Good luck.

I'm pretty sure you are correct. I saw this one as well, it was pretty worn with verdigris though so I decided to pass. I already have a few of these (my favorite IH variety to collect) and they're very possible to spot even in low grades.
