That is one messy Indian Head cent. Have you tried acetoning or verdicaring it?

Great Britain 1869 penny. This is the key date of the 1860-94 pennies - although the official mintage figure is 2,580,480, it is scarce in any condition and extremely rare in Mint State. Mine was a very lucky junk bin find!
