PCI slab sequence question

From my research, the accepted sequence is Leslie Shade started using the solid Gold box insert in 2001 (after he bought PCI) and then Brian Beardsley bought PCI in 2002 and continued to use the solid gold box. Towards the end of his life (2007) he attempted to revive PCI with the signature series. Bad stuff happens and in 2008 John Feigenbaum (DLRC) buys the assets and starts Dominion Grading Service (DGS).

That folds and in 2010 Kevin McNerey buys it and tries to return to the green box holders (at best a ‘retro' or ‘reproduction' attempt). His slabs can be distinguished by using a different font and on the reverse having the original 10 digit serial number but only one code. Plus instead of micro printed PCI forming the box there were sort of blob that might have been a poor scan of the micro printing.

The internet archive WayBack machine https://web.archive.org/ still redirected to Dominion in February 2011 but in April has a coming soon page.

The November 3, 2011 through January 2012 captures shows the Green and Red box inserts found in the wild in 2010. With the note, "PLEASE Note we will be opening an office in Delray Beach Florida October, 30 2011" Telephone numbers is (888) 750-2646, fax (516) 539-3569.

The June 18, 2012 capture has a new "coming soon" page and different phone #s (same fax) - (305) 749-5641. Area code 305 is not Delray Beach but rather Miami...

In November 2012 the page redirects to a payment page and in February 2013 the current (zombie? page) appears [this is still current as of December 2014].

The "about page" has a new phone number and says "September 12, 2012 The New PCI". Contact information is the same fax number from 2011, a Wantagh, NY address (which is a UPS store) and a new toll free phone #: (866)-244-0934. The website shows what I call the blue "bullet train" insert and several thousand are known in the wild. All of the coins known in the wild have serial numbers that seem to say they were done in Feb 2012, e.g. 2012.02/6710.

But I now have two labels that don't fit...

One is the 2012 label, serial # 2012.02/(space)1774 which is purple.Research-Request:-Modern-PCI-Slabs-2010ff
It is a die clash and I guess they could have used a different color to call out errors and such.

The other is a 2010-style reproduction green box but with a 2012-style serial #.

Any information or corrections appreciated!

What specifically is your question? That might help us give you a better answer. Is it that your coins appear to be out of the expected sequence?

Are you collecting the slabs in this case? Or the coins?

Fair enough

/1/ Any updates to the overall chronology?
/2/ Anybody shed any light on the current status of the 2012 PCI? I found a BBB report from 2014 that indicated somebody was able to retrieve their coins from the company.
/3/ Any information on the purple vs. blue
/4/ Any information on the 2011.95 prefix vs. the common 2012.02?
