Hello I have been crh Kennedy halfs for about 5 months, and I thought I had a good thing going. But for the past couple months everything has really dried up. I order boxes from several banks that all use Loomis, and I dump at a Brinks bank. However I have noticed that I am getting the same coins back within a week from my Loomis bank. I am sure Loomis is getting my Brinks dumps now and rerolling them. I go through 10-20 boxes a week and have been trying to order more lately in hopes that I will go through what they have so they can pull Kennedy's from a different location. It's not working. I've tried turning them in by the box and the bag, and they are still getting back to Loomis. Has anybody else had this situation and figured out what to do to bring in fresh boxes? I don't want to stop since I just started and I still have not really hit on an awesome box yet. My best was about 20 silvers. I am going to ask the branch manager at my dump bank to hold onto them before turning them in, but besides that and driving a couple hundred miles to dump I can't think of anything else. Are my CRH halfs days over already?

btw I also think the Loomis driver is going out of his way to make this hard on me. Like he's looking out for himself or a friend. He told the head teller at one of my banks that the coins he delivered are the same ones he picked up the week before. ( That bank was holding several boxes for me for a few weeks, but had to let some go back because of space) He told the head teller these were the same coins. Like he wanted her to tell me. The facilty they count and roll at is over 100 miles away. But somehow these coins went back and not only came back to the same city a week later, but the exact same bank. And I order from 4 banks. Is it possible I am working against a CRH'er who has Loomis and Brinks connections and they were tired of me so they shut me down?

No. I don't think the world is against you the way you think it is. Ive read on the Kennedy half searchers section of this forum that some go through 40 box skunks before finding anything.

People on the forum should really educate themselves on the FED system. Just because you dump with 1 armored car bank doesn't mean anything. Say you dump at a Loomis bank. Loomis dumps the halves at the FED. Brinks comes and picks them up. It's that simple.

Several different banks (not just different branches of the same bank) ship their coins to/from the same vault facility. The different car companies like Brinks, Garda, Loomis, etc, are just the couriers that are contracted to get them from the vault to your bank branch. I think you are being fed nonsense from your bank because the driver is not privy to what is in those boxes beyond what it says on the outside.

Neither is coffee, but some things are still upsetting if they dry up. :-)

I was going to post exactly what hcmusicguy said based on my 4 years of hunting experience.

All banks in your area get coin from the same source regardless of the carrier.

However you may want to change your dump patterns and amounts or lactions rather than the carrier they use.

2 years ago I would do 16 boxes a week and have to dump $3K at a time. I had a bunch of 10 and 20 skunk streaks.

Last year I cut back to 12 boxes a week and dump between $1200 to $2500 at a time. I only had 2 4 box pickups without 1 silver besides one 12 box skunk streak.

Were there move silver dumps? Did my smaller dumps allow non hunter coins get mixed in? No one will know for sure but results were up last year.

This January I dumped $1200 at one bank and $3K at another bank Saturday January 3. On Thursday January 8 I got them back. As of today, 28 boxes later later and dumping $14K not visiting either of those 2 banks since I have not gotten a single coin from this month back. Since dump banks are hard to come by I may have to do a sacrificial dump at those 2 once a month and expect not to find anything the following week or I may have to do some testing to see which of the 2 banks is the source.

Do crh with denominations that are far more widely circulated: for example, quarters.

Hey Sel quarters don't produce. I do some nickels and dimes occasionally but quarters are avaoided by most crh's for the most part.
