echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 01/23/2015 10:19 pm These are going to be a challenge. They are both billon trachy reduced in size which indicates from the late empire. Because of the condition it's just going to be a guess. I think the first one might be John III from the Thessalonica mint SB-2132. I don't know if I'll be able to come up with an ID on the second. But I'll enhance the pictures a bit, that might help. Report this Post to the Staff

The second coin is from the Latin Ruler period 1204-1261 and looks like it might be SB-2030. Sorry that's the best I can do. Report this Post to the Staff
