I live in the east so only get new "P" mint items here. I can't get "D" mint mark items easily. How do the rest of you get the "other" mint items?

Hey Cat,

Once you have 50 posts you can request trades from other members (see the buy/see/trade forum down the page). Of course you can respond to their requests. In my case, my daughter lives in Colorado so I have her on the look-out for me. But that may not be a good thing, she charges a premium!

Trades and swaps. The folks on these boards love collecting and are generally more than happy to help get you what you need. Just keep coming back and posting when you can!

that is what makes these forums great, we have people from just about all over the world that visits here and everyone that I know of are more than happy to swap coins that you can get from your bank for coins that they can get from theirs no matter if its foreign coins or US coins everyone here seems more than happy to help. The only requirement is to have 50 quality posts on the forum so the other members can get to know and trust you before any swapping/selling from that member occurs

And when you reach 50 posts you can enroll in the holiday giveaway - then if you are willing to share a coin with another collector- who knows what treasure(s) you might receive
Rest in Peace

Trades are the best way to aquire other mint coins. You can also go to your local coin shop to aquire them. Coin shops will usually charge a small premium. ebay is another way, but with the shipping, it may not be worth it.
