Hi all, I'm new here. Just fishin for a community grade.
These are the seller's picts, I can't seem to take good close ups. The only disappointment was that the green patina, which I liked so much, must have been the lighting.
Also I know the face is worn, but I was pretty impressed with the dentils. Last question any advice for equipment that takes really good close up picts? Thank You for any and all feedback.

Here I'm quoting myself from yesterday.

Quote:
All my pics are taken with my iPhone 5S. What I do is stack up books about 4 inches high and hang just the camera lens off the end of the stack. That way you're not trying to hold the camera and hit the button at the same time. Once the coin is stationed under the camera use your index finger and thumb to stretch the picture bigger until the coin fills up the screen. Without moving the camera take a pic of the other side of the coin. Voila! Decent coin pics with your iPhone.

Hope this helps. We also have a forum discussing photo techniques here:

As far as a grade I'll say VF-25. The green cast to the coin is probably from being stored in a PVC based coin flip. Nice coin. I still need a CBQ for my 7070.

The camera's white balance setting seems to be a bit off, lending to the color cast, but I'm seeing signs of contamination from PVC plasticizers on it. The coin needs to soak in acetone, or it won't be so pretty for the next owner. Search the Forum - we discuss the use of acetone quite frequently in the Main Coin Forum.

I have it at VF25.

VF 25. I agree, an acetone soak is in order.
