Farkas1111 New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 01/24/2015 10:00 pm Hi all, I'm new here. Just fishin for a community grade. These are the seller's picts, I can't seem to take good close ups. The only disappointment was that the green patina, which I liked so much, must have been the lighting. Also I know the face is worn, but I was pretty impressed with the dentils. What I do is stack up books about 4 inches high and hang just the camera lens off the end of the stack. That way you're not trying to hold the camera and hit the button at the same time. Once the coin is stationed under the camera use your index finger and thumb to stretch the picture bigger until the coin fills up the screen. Without moving the camera take a pic of the other side of the coin. Voila! Decent coin pics with your iPhone. Hope this helps. SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 01/25/2015 09:05 am The camera's white balance setting seems to be a bit off, lending to the color cast, but I'm seeing signs of contamination from PVC plasticizers on it. The coin needs to soak in acetone, or it won't be so pretty for the next owner. Search the Forum - we discuss the use of acetone quite frequently in the Main Coin Forum. I have it at VF25.
