Aluminium Quarter Penny - Any Info?

Anaximander Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 709 Posts	Posted 01/25/2015 11:25 am When decimalisation was being planned for the UK, ( introduced 1971 ), there were plans for an aluminium quarter penny. I read that some patterns were produced but nothing more. Does anyone know where pictures of this pattern can be found? Report this Post to the Staff

Anaximander - it was an older edition I saw it in, probably around 2005/6 - it had pictures of all the 1961 decimal patterns on one page. Perhaps they dropped that page to make more room for the vast numbers of recent new issues!
