Tracking-Counterfeits-

Here is a small screenshot of the alpha version of the program I'm writing that tracks the prices and sales of counterfeits online by scraping figures from several known online markets (such as alibaba, ebay, etc.). This snippet was taken just a few minutes ago.

From here this information will be entered into a database and (once it works well enough and there's enough data in it to make sense) some reports will be available on The Black Cabinet. :-)

Because of the trickiness of data entry and sifting, I may need to crowdsource some volunteers to look over new entries from time to time that can't be automatically confirmed and properly categorize them.

But more on this soon. :-)

Interesting stuff that I'm sure numismatic researchers of the future will value.
