I found this 1982 small date penny, It was somewhat difficult to photograph. Please tell me if this is what I think it is, thank you!

Sorry Tiff, but most of your images are too blurry to evaluate your coin. The E in UNITED shown in your third image, however, looks to be machine damage. Notice how the width of the original letter is reduced, but the overall width is increased by the doubling? That's a classic sign of machine doubling/damage.

Also, it is always preferable to post an image of the entire coin, obverse and reverse. I have to guess that this is a 1982 P Large Date Copper. Take a look at this http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/dies...ie_state=mds. This is the only known 1982 P DDR, not the only coin, but the variety.

Thanks for the feedback, I do have pictures of the obverse and will post soon. This is definitely a small date and does exhibit the similar die scratches in the motto, specifically the e in "we" and the t to the r in "trust". It also appears to have a die break in the inside left corner of the t in "liberty", as well as various die scratches throughout the bust and neck. I will post today, tell me what you think.
