My wife works retail and she brings home any interesting finds for me. Today I did a quick check on what she brought me and I got a couple of surprises.

This is over the last 3-4 months.

54 Wheat Cents Mainly 40's and 50's as expected. However there was also:

1919-s
1920
1926
1939-s

3-1964 Dimes

1 Holy 1944 Walking Liberty half dollar

1 1936 Buffalo nickel

And then the one that blew me away is a beat up

1897 V nickel.

While none of them are anything real special I will gladly take them all at face value!

This is great! I've been collecting coins from circulation and have never, ever, found a WL half, a Buffalo, or a V nickel.
